Post Office Banks

These antique doors were manufactured for the Postal Service in the early 1900s and they are becoming increasingly rare.  The authentic United States Post Office box doors are made of bronze or brass. The banks come in various sized as described and either the combination or key are provided.

The quality construction includes dovetail joinery in solid oak or other fine hard wood with a light, natural finish.  It comes with a brass coin slot cover.

The banks come in various sizes.

The regular bank in the shape of a old fashioned street mail drop box dimensions are approximately 4 1/2″ wide x 9″ high x 4″ deep. $150

The large bank in the shape of a old fashioned street mail drop box dimensions are approximately 6 1/2″ wide x 12″ high x 5 1/2″ deep. $200

 

 

The old fashioned mail trucks are hand made with various special hard woods and are approximately 6″ wide x 8″ high x 12″ long. $250

 

 

These make  wonderful gifts for children or anybody that likes nostalgia. It also makes a great heirloom to be passed down for years to come.
