24 Hours to Go

Visual artists, filmmakers, theatre artists, dancers, musicians, and poets race against a 24-hour clock to create unique works based on prompts given by Artistic Director of Ghostbird Theatre, Barry Cavin.

Artists of all types and ages are invited to participate. We don’t know how creative you can be in 24 hours, but we do know you’ll have so much fun you won’t even feel the sleep deprivation.

A free event! Cash awards of $500 will be given to best artwork, best video, best live performance, and best musical performance. Artists must register through our online registration process–all guidelines are posted there. Registered artists, filmmakers, musicians, and performers will meet at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center on February 29, at 5:00 pm to receive the prompts, and then they have exactly 24 hours to create their art, pieces, dances, poems, films, music, songs and report back to the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center with their completed works.

Saturday, February 29th, 5pm: Prompts Delivered
All interested participants are required to attend
Sunday, March 1st, 5pm: Deadline for artist submissions
