Author Lecture: Jane Lorenzini

Jane Lorenzini spent thirteen years as a television news anchor and reporter, nearly seven of those at WINK-TV. She went on to co-write two New York Times bestselling books with her dear friend and Today co-anchor Hoda Kotb, Jane’s coworker at WINK during the 1990s. Their books include: Hoda: How I Survived War Zones, Bad Hair, Cancer, and Kathie Lee and Ten Years Later: Six People Who Faced Adversity and Transformed Their Lives, plus a third book, Where We Belong: Journeys That Show Us the Way. In 2019, they released I Really Needed This Today, a book featuring 365 inspirational quotes. After the Rain is Jane’s debut novel, set in 1888 next door to Thomas Edison’s winter estate and laboratory. Decades ago, during her years at WINK, she fell in love with the property after interviewing a horticulturist who tended the acres of exotic gardens. Jane currently lives in Nashville and writes everywhere.
