Enjoy a lunch, lecture, Q&A, and book-signing with bestselling authors on four Mondays, January through April 2023. The Famous Author Lecture Series brings national and international bestselling authors to Fort Myers, enriching the community with high-quality literary experiences. These 2-hour events invite guests to meet and listen to best-selling authors sharing their experiences and offering insights into their works all while enjoying a delicious lunch catered by Frisco’s, followed by a personal book signing opportunity. The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center is pleased to present luncheon lectures with Lisa Unger, Bob Morris, B.A. Shapiro, and Robert Macomber.

About the Author:

Ms. Shapiro is the award-winning and New York Times bestselling author of nine novels, including Metropolis (May, 2022), The Collector’s Apprentice, The Muralist and The Art Forger, which won the New England Book Award for Fiction, among other honors. She holds a PhD in sociology and has served as an adjunct professor teaching sociology at Tufts University and creative writing at Northeastern University. Barbara splits her time between Boston and Naples, Florida.
