SBDAC fosters continuing education! Enroll in the Davis School of Music’s Fall and Spring semesters or sign up for workshops to develop skills in the arts. Take part in Cotillion to facilitate leadership and etiquette.

Turf Wars Workshops

Lecture with Nobel Peace Prize Winner DR. Terry Root. Listen and discuss the effects of pollution in our waters, climate change, and how we can make a difference.

Nov. 20 • 1pm – 3pm | How Artwork Relates to the Principles of Creation • FREE

Join Susan Hedge for an inspirational walk through the gallery as we consider how the exhibits speak to four ecological and spiritual principles of creation: integrity, community, regeneration and diversity. Hedge is an ecological educator and spiritual director.

Take writing lessons with a best-selling author! Lessons apply for non-fiction or fiction. Among other things, students will learn to write narrative arcs, discover the power of imagery and setting, and why not to worry if the first draft is terrible.

Junior League of Cotillion

The mission of the National League of Junior Cotillions is to teach youth the value of treating others with dignity and respect for better relationships with family and friends. Age-appropriate etiquette and dance instruction for students from kindergarten through to the high school level are offered.
