I am thrilled to share with you the story behind these paintings. It wasn’t easy for me to find inspiration, but I poured my heart and soul into each and every one of them. They were all created with a deep love and a tragically beautiful tale of a little girl who spoke with angels in her closet at the tender age of 4. She passed away at just 11 years old, but her spirit lives on through the vibrant colors of my art.

I want to express my gratitude to all of you for your unwavering love, kindness, and support. It means the world to me. As a bereaved parent, born and raised in Cutler Ridge, Miami, FL, I am beyond grateful for all of you who have supported me through my ongoing crisis over the years. Your unwavering support has been an inspiration to me, allowing me to be truly vulnerable and share myself through my inspired artwork. My paintings are not just a display of technique with color, but a representation of my journey to recover from the deep sadness and utter loneliness that comes with being a bereaved parent.

It took me 14 long years to find the inspiration to create again after my 11-year-old daughter passed away in 2004. But interestingly enough, it was a massive injury that could have easily sent me spiraling into a deeper depression that ultimately inspired me to break free from the chains of PTSD and create my most heartfelt pieces yet.

These paintings are a celebration of true inspiration, raw, colorful, and bold. They are a reflection of what feelings look like, and I am proud to share them with you. Despite my lack of formal art training, I am painting intrinsically by feel, using my creative abilities and skills from 30 years of being a faux finish artist. And it’s working! I am now selling nationwide as a result of my passion and dedication to my craft.

My daughter had to earn her Heaven wings, and I had to go through hell to earn the right to share my artwork with you. But it was all worth it. These paintings are truly heartfelt, and I am excited to continue sharing my journey with you. Thank you for being a part of it all.
