Lesley Morrow’s ‘Paint Me Like One of Your French Girls’ is a whimsical, vibrant, feminine-inspired show. From the beginning of humankind, the female aura has captivated artists, musicians, poets, Royal houses, and religions. This exhibition is a mysterious, seductive, and fun exploration of the dynamic color ranges and emotions that have best described the feminine mystique.

As a child, Lesley was influenced by her professional illustrator parents.  Then focused on photography, and attended The School of Visual Arts in New York City and City College of San Francisco, California. Yet, Lesley found her voice painting contemporary portraiture later. Her paintings are bold, raw, and sensitive to the eye.

Lesley is an artist in residence at the Union Artist Studios in Fort Myers, Florida where she now breathes her passion through acrylic, oil, airbrush, and mixed media.  She has exhibited in local SW Florida Galleries including SIdney Berne and Davis Art Center,  DAAS COOP,  Space39, Arts For Act, the Loft, Chico’s , and the Alliance of the Arts to name a few.  Her work can be found in public and private collections locally and internationally.
