Smoke on the Water Barbecue Team Registration

Smoke on the Water will be held at Centennial Park, downtown Fort Myers. Cook site placement is determined by the event organizers.

  • If you do not possess a Florida State Sales Tax Number, please say "N/A" and input your Social Security Number.
  • Please upload a completed W-9 form for your team! If you do not submit one with your application, you must complete at the Cook Team Meeting on Friday, April 27th.

    Form submission does not guarantee participation. Barbecue vendors wishing to sell food will be hand-selected by event coordinators in collaboration with the Florida Barbecue Association.
    Please let us know if you are interested in vending. We will be selecting BBQ Vendors on April 6, 2019 and will notify you if you are chosen on that date.
    Barbecue vendors must be open on Friday, April 26 from 6-10pm and on Saturday April 27 from 11am-10pm. Vendors are not permitted to sell any beverages other than tea, lemonade or water.
    (If selected to vend, you will be invoiced separately for a $400.00 vending fee).
  • Trailers and vehicles must fit inside the standard 20′ x 20′ cook space. Upgrades to a 20′x40′ space are available for $75.00. Each space will be provided 1 - 20amp circuit. An additional 20amp circuit can be purchased for 75.00. If you need power beyond this please bring a generator.
  • You must compete in all four categories in order to be eligible for Grand Champion or Reserve Grand Champion.
    Competition Turn-in times: CHICKEN – 11:00 AM RIBS - 12:00 PM PORK – 1:00 PM BRISKET – 2:00 PM

  • The winner of our People's Choice contest will receive $250.00 and a trophy. Turn in time for our People's Choice contest is Saturday, April 28 at 2:30pm. A Boston Butt will be provided to you at the time of the team meeting on Friday, April 27.
    The fee for participation is $25.00.
  • Please let us know when you plan to arrive.
  • Please let us know when you plan to leave. For the safety of our attendees, load-out may not begin until the festival is over on Saturday, April 27th.
