The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center is committed to inspiring students to get involved in all aspects of the arts. That’s why the SBDAC Junior Board is proud to present Teen Talent Night. This showcase of music, acting, film, visual art, and dance is open to Lee County teens between the ages of 13 and 18. Want to learn more about how to participate? Check out the details below!

What is Teen Talent Night?

Teen Talent Night is an open mic for teens with a competitive component. On Saturday, May 27th from 6pm – 10pm teens from ages 13 – 18 are invited to take part in this event in the areas of music, theatre, film, visual art, and dance. Those who want to perform will take the stage for an audience of their peers. The audience will then decide the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Plus, there will be a DJ playing great music, and pizza and drinks to purchase!

How Do I Participate?

Students are encouraged to sign up online using the submission form. However, performers can also sign up in person on the day of the event. Of course, students don’t have to sign up to perform to have fun! There will be plenty of food, drinks, and music to enjoy throughout the night. Also, event goers can take some silly photos in the photo booth! There are many ways that teens can participate, including entering the raffle for a chance to win great prizes.

Bringing the Talent

Teen Talent Night is a fun-filled event that boasts open mic performers, a talent competition with cash prizes, a DJ bumping great tunes all night, and so much more! This event will be the best way to let students showcase their talents or just take part in a great end-of-the-year party in downtown Fort Myers. It just doesn’t get better than that!
