Biography:

Dr. Jackson Trescott is a Veterinarian, artist, and lifelong outdoor enthusiast whose deep appreciation for nature is reflected in every brushstroke of his work. Raised on the pristine barrier island of Cayo Costa, Jackson grew up immersed in the natural world, exploring its beauty through surfing, fishing, and a love for high-speed watercraft. These early experiences not only shaped his adventurous spirit but also instilled in him a lasting reverence for the environment—a theme that now defines his artistic vision.

A graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine (2017), Dr. Trescott began his veterinary career working with a wide range of animals, from livestock and exotics—including panthers, bears, and wolves—to domestic pets. In recent years, he has focused his practice primarily on small animals, a path he plans to continue for the remainder of his career.

Jackson’s artistic journey began in childhood, painting watercolors alongside his mother on the shores of Cayo Costa. While his creative interests later expanded into music and video editing during high school, it was the loss of his close friend and musical collaborator, Josiah Dunn, that brought him back to painting as a form of expression and healing. What began as a personal outlet has since grown into a passionate and thriving artistic practice.

His work seeks to capture the essence of the natural scenes he encounters in his outdoor pursuits, blending memory, movement, and emotion. With a commitment to making art accessible, Jackson offers a wide range of original pieces at reasonable prices. His goal is to inspire others to connect with and appreciate the beauty of the world around them, just as he has through both his art and his life.
