Dharma Lefevre

Dharma Lefevre is a local mixed media artist that has been involved with local art shows, international projects and illustration for fantasy novels. She has taught art for years in sbdac art camp, group and private lessons.

Currently her love for watercolor painting has inspired her to teach this immersive class. She loves to inspire and work with kids and teenagers. This class allows a fun and supportive environment in which they can not only tap into their imagination, but create with the confidence of learning watercolor.

Watercolor Lessons – January 27th, 2026 to March 10th, 2026 – 8 Weeks

Price is $375 including supply cost

Tuesdays 4:00 – 5:30 Age 14 – 17 

This class will start with the basics which includes, what kind of paper to use, and how to prepare a watercolor. As we move through the lessons the instructor will be introducing different techniques and tutorials as well as how to incorporate mixed media for finishing products. At the end there will be 2 final projects including: how to varnish, frame and hang and the second will be how to mount on a birch panel. Students will be supplied with all substrates and tools to work on projects, and encouraged to take home pieces to work on

 

Tuesdays 5:45 – 7:15 Age 9 – 13 

A warm welcome to the wonderful world of watercolor! This class is tailored to a basic introduction to watercolor. This class will combine pre sketched pieces, how to work in areas and lead up to the final projects.
