Bio

Erik Pflueger (b. 1972) is a Florida-based artist and illustrator whose work bridges imagination and precision with striking clarity. Diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at an early age, Pflueger developed a unique visual perspective that would later become a defining strength in his artistic career. He graduated from the Ringling College of Art and Design in 1994, laying the foundation for a diverse and prolific creative path.

In 1997, he founded CygnusArts, Inc., through which he has produced an expansive body of work including hundreds of architectural renderings, caricatures, children’s books, and album artwork for regional musicians. His ability to merge technical skill with imaginative storytelling has made his work both versatile and widely recognizable.

Since 2018, Pflueger has collaborated with acclaimed filmmaker Kevin Smith, contributing comic book covers and coloring books, and co-designing the BaphoMoob character. This collaboration culminated in the production of a collectible action figure by Major Bendies, bringing his design work into the three-dimensional realm.

In 2019, Pflueger was commissioned by The Grateful Veteran to create a series of twelve poster illustrations honoring military service members and first responders. Blending reverence with moments of humor, the series has resonated deeply with audiences and continues to inspire.

Pflueger lives and works in Naples with his wife, Yvette. Together, they share a full and lively household that includes their children, grandchildren, and a small entourage of cats.
