Have your student attend our weekend workshop with a featured art instructor, Tiani Rosado. This project is a sample of what the Davis School of Visual Arts has to offer year-round. Students will learn blending and basic color theory in this mixed media piece. The class will be held in the Capital Gallery on the second floor. All supplies are included in the workshop fee. If your student likes this art workshop, we have weekly options available for students ages 5-17. Students can sign up at any time. We paired this class with another family-friendly event happening in the Grand Atrium called Sancocho Sundays. The Sancocho Sunday’s Family Brunch has great food and live music. You can purchase separate tickets and parents can enjoy the brunch while students learn this fun activity.

About the Instructor:

Tiani Rosado is a painter and mixed media artist who was born in colorful Coney Island, New York. She has been a creative individual all of her life. Her passion for art ignited at age 18 when she left her job at a well-known bank and bought every supply required to paint. She showcased her artwork in many shows and events in Philadelphia and was deemed “Delaware’s Masterpiece” by a local blogger. When she moved to Florida, she immediately immersed herself in the creative community and continued to participate in as many markets and art shows as possible. The SBDAC is the first gallery where her artwork was shown. She currently teaches art classes for children in Fort Myers and surrounding areas.
